I am exclusively breast feeding my 3 week old son, however, I would like to pump so that I can give him a bottle occasionally. For now, I would just like to have a bottle to take to church on Sundays. I tried pumping after one of his feedings earlier this week, but it seemed to totally empty my breasts and my supply didn’t seem to bounce back for the rest of the day. I’m worried that pumping after a feeding will totally deplete my supply for the day. When is the best time to pump?
